Meet Dr. Jay
Known simply as “Dr. Jay” to colleagues, clients, and friends, Jay’s journey began in the small town of Orania in South Africa’s Northern Cape. Born to a South African mother and an Italian father, he developed an early appreciation for discipline, hard work, and perseverance — values that would later define both his military and professional career.
After immigrating to the United States, Jay answered the call to serve by enlisting in the U.S. Army. From 2001 to 2011, he served as a Special Operations Combat Medic, spending a decade on the front lines of some of the world’s most demanding environments — gaining deep experience in emergency medicine, human performance, trauma care, and evidence-based decision making under pressure.
Following his military service, Jay continued his education and medical training through the University of Texas system. His passion for science, physiology, and human optimization naturally led him into the rapidly evolving fields of peptide research and advanced research compounds.
Today, as the founder of MyGLP1Store, he is committed to helping researchers and science enthusiasts better understand the emerging science behind peptides, metabolic research, mitochondrial health, and next-generation research compounds. He believes education and transparency are as important as product quality, and built the company around those principles.
When he’s not immersed in research, Jay remains an avid rugby enthusiast and lifelong student of human performance. His mission stays the same: making complex science accessible and advancing the understanding of innovative research technologies.
